Fred Aikens
CEO & Founder
Fred Aikens, our CEO and Co-Founder, is the driving force behind our strategic direction and client-focused approach. He leverages decades of executive leadership experience across government, military, and public-sector organizations to guide our growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions that help clients achieve their mission objectives. Through his leadership, Wratio Group remains committed to excellence, accountability, and creating lasting value for the organizations we serve.
An accomplished executive, consultant, and retired Army Colonel, Fred has worked extensively across the transportation, corrections, information technology, defense, homeland security, health and human services, and government sectors. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior leadership positions including Senior Fiscal Analyst for the North Carolina General Assembly, Chief Deputy Secretary for the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and Deputy Secretary for the North Carolina Department of Correction. He has successfully led large-scale operational, budgeting, policy, technology modernization, and organizational transformation initiatives, while providing executive oversight for programs supporting thousands of employees and managing billions of dollars in public resources.
Fred’s diverse experience and leadership have consistently improved organizational performance, operational effectiveness, and strategic execution. He is recognized for aligning policy, operations, and fiscal management to achieve measurable results, while building strong relationships with government leaders, stakeholders, and industry partners. Widely respected for his integrity, professionalism, and collaborative leadership style, Fred brings a unique combination of executive, military, legislative, and academic experience to every engagement.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. He is also a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government’s Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government.

Hanani Wade, our CEO, is the driving force behind our culture and strategic vision. Through his leadership, we remain focused, intentional, and united in delivering meaningful impact and lasting value.
An experienced management consultant, Hanani has worked across the Government/Public, Defense and National Security, Telecommunications, and Financial Services sectors. He has successfully led and managed large-scale, high-priority projects throughout their lifecycle, and established key governance structures such as Strategy and Performance Management Offices, Program Management Offices, and Design Management Offices for clients.
Hanani’s diverse experience and success in developing and executing strategy have consistently improved program performance and operational efficiency. He is known for delivering insightful analysis, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving results through cost-effective management approaches. Widely respected for his integrity, professionalism, and collaborative leadership style, Hanani brings strong interpersonal and team-building skills to every engagement.
Hanani holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Industrial Technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He also earned a Master of Science in Project Management from The George Washington University. His professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and SAFe Agilist.
